Inventory accuracy
Freshness matters as much as availability.
Every published inventory record identifies its authorized source and most recent verification time. Version 1 primarily uses merchant CSV and manual updates. Integrations appear only after the retailer or merchant has authorized access.
Status meanings
- In stock: the authorized source recently indicated availability.
- Low stock: availability was reported, but quantity may be limited.
- Call to confirm: the last affirmative update is older than the freshness threshold.
- Out of stock: the latest source indicated no inventory.
- Availability unknown: the source does not support a reliable availability statement.
Our default rule
Affirmative manual and CSV inventory older than 72 hours is automatically presented as “Call to confirm.” Out-of-stock and unknown records remain explicit because they do not encourage an unnecessary trip.
