We collect only what helps the service work.

Public product search does not require an account. If you sign in, Find It Hawaiʻi receives your ChatGPT account email and, when available, display name to keep your favorites, saved searches, product requests, and merchant access separate.

Island interest lists

If you join an island interest list, we store your email, selected island, shopper or merchant interest, and any product you asked for. We use it to prioritize island launches and send limited launch information. We do not sell the list.

What we store

Account identity, preferences, user-created requests, authorized merchant records, inventory imports, listing-correction reports, and operational audit events. Search analytics are limited to the query, island, and result count. If you voluntarily confirm whether a listing helped you find an item, we record the listing and your answer; it is associated with your account only when you are signed in. Raw IP addresses are not stored for analytics.

How we use it

To provide requested features, secure merchant and administrative access, improve local search, measure unmet demand and confirmed local finds, prevent abuse, and maintain an operational record of important changes.

Your choices

You can delete your shopper account and associated personal records from My Account. Records that must be retained for security or merchant operations are anonymized. To leave an island interest list or ask a question, email aloha@findithawaii.com.
